(3). Depending upon the time of day, you will be taken on a tour of the different areas. This is because we believe the location is as important, if not more important, than the property. If a particular location is not right for you, it would make no sense to show you properties there.
(4). Once you have decided upon the areas you like, you will be shown properties which match your requirements and which fall within your stated budget. It is essential that you take comfortable shoes with you.
(5). During the day, you will take a light lunch and drinks with your courier. This is included in the cost of the inspection trip, as is your evening meal, which is a way to relax after a busy day looking at properties. It also gives you a good idea of what the area has to offer in the way of facilities, leisure activities, etc.
(6). The trip continues in this manner until you find your dream home. In each showhouse, your courier will check the price with the builder’s representative and will tell you the total price including taxes and legal fees (normally approx. 10% would need to be added to the builder’s base price).
(7). Should you decide to buy, a £2000 holding deposit will need to be paid to secure the property. It also ensures that there will be no price increases from the time you reserve the property to the time of completion. It is necessary, therefore, to take with you a bankers draft or building society cheque for £2000 made payable to yourselves. No-one will ask to see the draft until you find a suitable property and express the desire to purchase. In the rare event that you don´t find something to suit you, then it is a simple matter to put the draft or cheque straight back into your own bank account on your return to the UK.
(8). Once you decide to buy and have paid your holding deposit, we will introduce you to a lawyer who can also organise a mortgage for you if necessary. All the legal aspects will be taken care of and we will do everything necessary to ensure a smooth transaction.
